Eyes on Wakanda: Everything to know about the upcoming animated series

Marvel Studios has revealed the first logo for their upcoming series, Eyes on Wakanda. Even though the studio has not officially announced a release date for the film, the tentative premiere date is August 6, 2025, according to a Disney document obtained by Nexus Point News.

While not much information has been disclosed regarding the series' storyline, it has been confirmed that the series will be an animated one and will be divided into four parts in the format of an anthology series. These parts will focus on Wakandan warriors who are assigned the mission of traveling across the globe to recover hazardous vibranium articles.

More information about the upcoming show Eyes on Wakanda was previously revealed by Brad Winderbaum, production and development executive at Marvel Studios. In July 2024, Winderbaum appeared on The Official Marvel Podcast and said:

"Eyes of Wakanda, more than any other show we’re doing in animation, ties directly into the MCU. This is a story about Wakandan history. It’s produced by Ryan Coogler and directed by Todd Harris, who is one of our longtime storyboard artists who I first met when he designed the Hulk vs. Thor fight in [Thor] Ragnarok.”

He continued:

“It’s an awesome show. The action is insane and the storytelling is fantastic. It’s both about the history of Wakanda, but also expands into the greater MCU at different time periods."
