In the wake of the reported Trump assassination, a post on X has gone viral with the claim that Lana Del Ray has commented on this incident:
"I wouldn't have missed."
This post shared by the handle @LyricVault has drawn considerable attention. However, there is no reason to believe this actually happened.

Lana del Rey has made no comment on the Trump assassination attempt
Contrary to the rumors on X, Lana del Rey has not made any comments on the assassination attempt on Donald Trump. Her latest Instagram post was uploaded on July 5, 2024, and a Billboard article reporting on the reactions of fellow musicians also doesn't include any statement from her.

The alleged Trump assassination has resulted in widespread misinformation
In the age of social media, it's incredibly easy for misinformation to spread unchecked, and for conspiracy theories to form in record time, particularly in an event as serious as the Trump assassination attempt.
There have been numerous unsubstantiated allegations about the Trump assassination being staged. In addition, heavy speculation about the shooter's true motivations, and partisan accusations have also been doing rounds as the already polarizing 2024 election has come back to the forefront of the public eye.
Donald J. Trump has been a highly talked-about figure since he began his first Presidential campaign in 2016. He was subjected to intense controversy over his campaign rhetoric, which his political opponents such as Hillary Clinton accused of being hateful and divisive.
During his 2016-2020 presidency, he was embroiled in another controversy for handling the COVID-19 pandemic. After losing the 2020 election to Joe Biden, he questioned the veracity of the election results, both through his speeches and the legal actions of his campaign
On January 6, 2021, the United States Capitol was attacked by a mob of people with the alleged motive of forcefully stopping the final certification of the 2020 election results. Trump's political opponents have repeatedly brought up this incident to argue against his fitness for serving another presidency.
While Trump eventually allowed for the transition of the White House to current President Biden, he has accused the Democratic party of weaponizing the Department of Justice against him. As a result, he has faced criminal indictments since the end of his presidency.
These include charges from the Federal Government relating to alleged mishandling of classified documents and election obstruction, as well as an indictment in the state of Georgia for election racketeering. Moroever, Trump was also criminally convicted in New York over a hush-money case related to his affair with Stormy Daniels.
