Fans demand that The Lincoln Lawyer Season 3 needs to come out before 2025 because Lisa’s mystery was not just enough

Fans of David Buckley’s The Lincoln Lawyer (2022-present) have been impatient since season 2 of the show concluded in 2023 and stated they need a new season and more thrilling cases, similar to Lisa's, before 2025.

In season 2, Lisa Trammell gets involved in the murder case of Mitchell Bondurant. Mickey Haller finds it hard to defend her as the accusations against her stand valid, although not proven. Mickey tries his best to save Lisa from the law and finally saves her. Lisa is not found guilty of the murder.

However, Mickey later discovers that Lisa has killed Jeff. The detectives find Jeff’s body in Lisa’s garden next to his least favorite herb, after which Lisa gets arrested.

Fans of The Lincoln Lawyer talked about this bizarre revelation that happened as the second season of the series concluded. A user on Reddit called Lisa a psycho and started a thread on the r/TheLincolnLawyer subreddit, commenting,

"As inappropriate as I might have been, I could stop but to laugh at Mickey's realisation that he had been eating food cooked with vegetables from a burial site. [I am sorry]. Lisa is a psycho for re-using that space to grow vegetables. 🥕"

Several other users who also found Lisa's behavior to be suspicious on the show, since the inception of season 2, commented about the last revelation that got her arrested.

"Obviously with so much time left in the episode after her original not-guilty verdict, I was just waiting for the other shoe to drop on her. She always felt off," a user wrote.

"I had the exact same thought. Something was off with her the whole time, and it was specifically related to her husband. The ending wasn't surprising. Though I originally thought that she was involved in the Bondurant murder but somehow got away with it," another fan wrote.

"So Lisa killed her husband for what reason I think I missed that part lol. Man Mickey always keeps representing ppl who actually are murderers lol," another Netizen wrote.

Some users did not like Lisa being arrested in season 2 of The Lincoln Lawyer.

"I actually liked Lisa. Not excusing murder, but she hadn't harmed anyone in the 11 years since and even did low-cost/free meals for the poor. I don't like or think it was legally ethical for Lorna to turn her in, and I don't think Lorna would have if not for how much it hurt Mickey to discover this," a user wrote.

"I get she’s guilty but I still didn’t like them calling the cops on her for some reason," another user wrote.

When is The Lincoln Lawyer Season 3 coming out?

The Lincoln Lawyer was officially renewed for season 3 in August 2023, as confirmed by its showrunner Netflix. The upcoming season will have 10 episodes. New cast members include Merrin Dungey and John Pirruccello among a few others.

From the previous season's cast, Becki Newton, Elliot Gould, and Devon Graye, among a few others, are confirmed to return.

Season 3 of The Lincoln Lawyer will be based on the book The Gods of Guilt by Michael Connelly (2013). Netflix has not confirmed the release date for season 3.
