What happens in the latest episode?
The latest episode of FBI season 7 opens with a shootout at an airport. A group of gunmen shoots some police officers and escapes with a cargo carrying gold bullion worth 25 million dollars.
Danny Chun informs Agents Scola and Ortiz that the secret shipment was coming from Switzerland, and not many knew about it. Suspicion falls on Caleb Boyles. However, the tech team at the FBI figures out that one of the shooters is Samuel Baptiste.
Baptiste and his team have been trying to topple the Haitian government. As the agents close in on Baptiste’s car, they are led to a house where several men are lying dead. Chun is one of the dead, proving he was involved in the robbery which went wrong eventually.
OA realizes that his friend Clay Voss is also involved in the case. Talking to him, he learns that Second Point Capital asked for the services of Pyramid Securities to solve the robbery case.
Meanwhile, it is found that a group of policemen shot Baptiste and the others earlier, and fled with the gold. OA asks Isobel to send Clay to the policemen, posing as a client. However, Clay has his own plans; he gets to the gold using the cops but then tries to run away with the same.
OA cannot allow his friend to do that, notwithstanding the fact that Clay once went out of his way to save OA from certain death. At the end of the episode of FBI season 7, OA has no option but to shoot Clay down when the latter reaches for his gun.
Isobel later confronts one of the cops regarding their act of robbery. They did it as revenge since their pension fund was completely lost when invested in Second Point Capital.
