Episode 6 of Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist was released on Peacock on September 26, 2024. The last episode saw Gordon, aka Chicken Man, and Hudson team up before the former walked into a trap and the latter got suspended. The new episode brings the duo back as they try again to find the robbers.

The synopsis of the episode, titled Round Six: Community Men, reads:

“The manhunt for Chicken Man ramps up as he becomes front-page news, derailing his mission to clear his name; Detective Hudson works outside of the law to advance his case and to prove Chicken's innocence.”

Episode 6 also reveals who masterminded the titular heist. It is Richard 'Cadillac Richie' Wheeler (Terrence Howard). One of Moten’s most trusted associates, he did it to show the mafia that Moten was not invincible after all and that a younger man like him would do a better job of leading the mafia.

Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist episode 6 shows who masterminded the robbery

In episode 2 of Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist, Emerson is seen as the orchestrator of the robbery. The episode delved into how he hired McKinley and Willie Black to carry out the daring heist at Gordon's sister Vivian’s residence.

However, the latest episode of the show shows who the actual mastermind behind the robbery was: Richard 'Cadillac Richie' Wheeler. This comes as a shock to the viewers because throughout Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist, he and Moten have been seen together, the former acting as the latter’s right-hand man.

Cadillac Richie’s motive is also revealed in the episode. He did it to show the mafia that Moten was no longer as competent as he once had been and that it was now time to hand over the leadership to someone like him.

Towards the end of the episode, Cadillac Richie orders Emerson to kill the people who were hired to carry out the robbery. Accordingly, Emerson calls McKinley and the others and asks them to meet him at a particular place. The next episode might reveal what happens to them.

Hudson and Chicken Man team up once again

In the previous episode, Hudson and Gordon, bitter enemies so far, shook each other’s hands, hoping they could catch the robbers together. However, that hope was short-lived since Moten’s men tracked down and killed Andre in the pair’s presence by the end of the episode. As a result, Gordon had to run to avoid getting involved in another crime, and Hudson was suspended from duty for messing up the case.

In episode 6 of Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist, they team up again. Gordon at first escapes from Moten’s grasp and then slips out of the police’s hands and reaches Hudson’s home. Catching the actual robbers is his only ticket to clearing his name.

Similarly, catching the actual robbers is Hudson’s only ticket to getting his job back. Thus, they reunite. The duo probes into the list of suspects and gets hold of McKinley’s name. Through his estranged wife, they also track him down.

Thus, by the end of the episode, by following McKinley's trail, the duo reaches the safe house where the loot from the robbery is stored. They, however, wait patiently since they are after the mastermind of the whole affair.

Missouri Slim meets his end in episode 6

Towards the beginning of the episode, Chicken Man runs away from Missouri Slim’s hands. Slim decides to extort money from Vivian for allegedly causing him financial and psychological damages. He demands no less than $50k from her, and she is told to procure that amount by the end of the day.

Meanwhile, the police call Moten for some interrogation. Even though he is suspended, Hudson tries to get Moten to tell him how much he lost in the robbery. However, Hudson learns nothing of value from Moten.

Towards the end of the episode, Moten goes to Vivian’s house, and there, an altercation breaks out between Slim and Moten. Slim shows disdain for the now vulnerable mafia chief, which the latter does not tolerate. Soon, a shootout ensues, in which Slim loses his life.
