Episode 7 of Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist was released on Peacock on October 3, 2024. The previous episode revealed that it was Richard 'Cadillac Richie' Wheeler (Terrence Howard) who had masterminded the robbery at Vivian’s house. The latest episode shows his motive.
In the concluding moments of the episode, Cadillac Richie’s mother comes to see him. She encourages him to take on Frank (Samuel Jackson) and eventually bring him down. Their interaction suggests that Frank became the top mob boss after cunningly sidelining Richie’s father. Thus, as revenge, Richie wants to bring down Frank.
The synopsis of episode 7, titled Round Seven: Jekyll Island, reads:
“Detective Hudson and Chicken Man track the robbers to the Georgia coast, culminating in an explosive standoff; Vivian forges an unlikely alliance, securing her future.”
Besides revealing Richie’s motive, episode 7 of Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist also deals with other plot elements that propel the story forward. As things stand now, fans of the show may expect a thrilling season finale.

Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist episode 7: Richie wants revenge
In one scene of episode 6, the tension between Richie and Frank was palpable as the former mentioned that Frank was gradually losing his powers and that following the setback of the robbery, someone young and energetic, such as Richie himself, should take over after Frank.
Frank hardly liked that idea. Richie’s broaching the matter, however, clarified that he was not such an admirer of Frank as it seemed to the others. The latest episode of the series shows why.
The closing scene of episode 7 shows Richie’s mother egging him on to first humiliate and then altogether bring down Frank. There is a huge portrait of Richie’s late father hanging in his office, and pointing to that, his mother reminisces about how Frank plotted and schemed his way to the top of the organization by sidelining Richie’s father. Just before the credits roll, Richie promises his mother that he will vanquish Frank.

What happens in Jekyll Island?
In the previous episode of Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist, Hudson and Chicken Man aka Gordon were able to follow Mac, Willie Black, and Baby Ray to the safe house. In episode 7, the trio takes all the cash and heads towards Dolphin Club on Jekyll Island since Emerson wanted them there.
Emerson told them that they would be paid their share of the robbery once they reached Dolphin Club. However, Cadillac Richie wanted Emerson to kill all three of them once they reached the same.
Emerson is reluctant; he shares a deep bond with Willie and Mac which makes it hard for him to kill them. He, in fact, telephones Willie, warns him about a certain plan and asks him to eliminate Ray. This, again, is easier said than done.
Baby Ray is barely an adult, and Willie Black, even though he is a ruthless character, develops a fraternal bond with him. Thus, he is unable to shoot him. This complicates matters when Emerson reaches the club.
Once Emerson starts questioning Willie about taking care of ‘loose ends’, Mac swiftly catches on and realizes that under Cadillac Richie, nobody is safe. He points a gun at Emerson and Willie, asking them to let go of Ray. Ironically, at this very moment, Ray walks in with a gun and shoots Mac dead.
Mac had once saved Emerson’s life, and when he dies in his arms, Emerson is overwhelmed with grief and rage. As a result, he puts a bullet through Ray’s head. This, in turn, rubs Willie the wrong way, and he instantly kills Emerson.

What are Hudson and Chicken Man up to?
By episode 6 of Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist, Hudson and Gordon had become a formidable pair. In the latest episode, they too reach Jekyll Island. Hudson manages to convince Mac to give up the mission from here on. In turn, he promises that he will do everything to make sure that Ray gets the most lenient sentence in court.
Mac, contemplating that surrendering would be the best choice, agrees. However, as aforementioned, once Emerson arrives at the club, things take a turn for the worse. Willie takes all the money and tries to escape but Hudson injures him with a bullet.
As the episode nears its end, Hudson and Chicken Man are standing before an injured Willie, groaning on the ground. The duo now wants to go after Richie, using Willie.
