Created by Max Thieriot, Fire Country made its debut on October 7, 2022, and ran for 22 episodes for season 1. Although the show is not truly based on anything, it is simply a creation of the showrunner’s inspiration, which he took from his experiences growing up in Northern California.
Despite receiving mixed-to-average reviews, the series attracted a global audience, becoming one of the most widely broadcast CBS Originals in several countries.
Fire Country has been praised for its engaging storyline, which combines intense firefighting action with deep character development and a personal redemption arc.
