Snapped on Oxygen will focus on the bizarre case of Viktoria Nasyrova. The episode, titled Viktoria Nasyrova, is set to air on August 18, 2024, at 6:00 PM EST. The episode's synopsis reads:
"Authorities connect two cases, exposing an international fugitive with a ruthless pattern."
Five chilling details about Viktoria Nasyrova's crimes
1) Viktoria Nasyrova drove for miles with a corpse next to her
As shown 48 hours on CBS, Viktoria allegedly drove 600 miles with a corpse in the passenger seat. Although the phone records and the CCTV evidence showed that she was driving with a corpse, Viktoria denied any involvement in the crime. According to her statement, anyone who thinks that she has driven 600 miles or more with a corpse next to her is 'insane.'
This shows us how a criminal can sugarcoat their crimes by constantly denying them.
2) Viktoria Nasyrova tried to steal Olga Tsvyk's identity
As shown in 48 hours on CBS previously, Viktoria Nasyrova attempted to kill Olga Tsvyk (who looked like Viktoria’s doppelgänger) by poisoning her cheesecake with phenazepam. However, Olga survived, as she was taken to the hospital by her neighbor on time. Viktoria wanted to steal Olga's identity, therefore, she attempted to kill her so that she could rob her passport, money, and credit cards.
When interviewer Peter Van Sant asks if she forced Olga to eat the poisoned cheesecake so that she could steal her identity, Olga replies by saying she did not force her to eat the cake, nor did she want her dead.
However, when the charges were proven against Viktoria, Olga Tsvyk, in an interview, defined Viktoria as very dangerous and told The New York Post:
“She’s a very dangerous person, a scary person. She is a manipulator and a liar. I thank God that she can’t do what she’s been doing to people anymore, although who knows what she’s doing in jail. She is capable of anything.I hope they don’t let her out early, lest she come after me.”
3) Viktoria Nasyrova even killed a dog
According to 48 hours on CBS, Viktoria was also accused by her boyfriend of killing his dog on its birthday. This accusation demonstrates once more how a murderer does not select her victims based on factors such as gender, age, or whether they are people or animals. A deranged murderer just looks to kill.
As reported by the New York Post, she maintained her innocence even after her arrest, stating:
“I didn’t do anything. I never robbed anyone. I never killed anyone. I never tried to kill anyone. They sentenced me to 21 years for a crime I did not commit.”
4) Viktoria even tried to kill her boyfriend
Viktoria, who had a history of drugging men and stealing from them, tried poisoning her boyfriend as well while she was on a date with him by lacing his drink. He was unconscious for nearly 48 hours. At this time, she stole his credit card and money.
She refused to acknowledge the crimes and instead dubbed him a liar when he eventually testified against her in court. She ignored everything, even though there was a ton of evidence against her. This demonstrates the extent to which a person's megalomania can be used to minimize their transgressions.
5) She poisoned Ruben Borukhov and went shopping with his cards
Viktoria poisoned a business owner and went on a shopping spree. As shown on 48 hours on CBS previously and also reported by the New York Post, Viktoria poisoned Ruben Borukhov while she was on a date with him. While he was unconscious, she stole his credit card and went on a shopping spree, leaving him to die. However, he survived.
