"Vincent Taylor is stuck in a controlling relationship with his Jekyll and Hyde wife; after a violent knife attack results in Vincent's death, his wife claims she was the victim of an abusive relationship; however, Vincent's phone will reveal the truth."
5 key details about Vincent Taylor's murder
1) Although Tempest Cymone Daniel pleaded guilty at once, she still lied to destroy Vincent's reputation
After Vincent Taylor's death, investigators quickly suspected his wife, Tempest Cymone Daniel, of the brutal stabbing. During her interrogation, Tempest reportedly confessed to the crime but alleged that she wanted to save herself and her two children from Vincent's wrath, and it was all an act of self-defense.
However, Vincent Taylor was known for his calm demeanor and had no history of violence. As the police found more evidence, it reportedly became clear that Tempest was lying to save herself from the mortal sin that she had committed.
2) The phone recording was the biggest revelation
The detectives allegedly found a phone recording on Vincent Taylor's phone in which his wife, Tempest Cymone Daniel, threatened to hurt him if he came near her or their children. However, why did Taylor record this call? Did he want to use it to file a case against her, or did he want to use it for an upper hand in the divorce? Or did he want the officers to discover it post-death, as he saw his demise coming?
3) Vincent Taylor was stabbed in front of his children
As reported by FOX 5 Atlanta, Taylor was stabbed in the neck by his wife after he revealed to her that he wanted a divorce. The two children were reportedly witnesses to her heinousness. Being a mother, did Tempest not think about how much this would affect their children mentally and how it would leave a scar and a void in their lives if one parent went missing?
Perhaps her anger consumed her and made her forget all the love she once had for Vincent.
4) Did Tempest really want to kill Vincent?
Tempest was mad at Taylor, as evidenced by the audio tape found on Taylor’s phone. However, several questions remain unanswered in the case: Did she intend to kill her husband, or was it all an outcome of domestic violence? If she wanted to kill him without getting caught, she could have looked for other ways. Instead, she allegedly stabbed him in front of their two children and later pleaded guilty without much hesitation.
5) Vincent Taylor was found at a gas station in DeKalb County
As reported by FOX 5 Atlanta, Taylor was found at a gas station in DeKalb County, gravely injured and in an unconscious state. Why he did not drive to the hospital on his own remains an unanswered question.
Did he consider the stab wound to be minor, or was his brain semi-conscious because of excessive bleeding, because of which he couldn't decide what to do? Taylor reportedly asked for help or wanted to be taken to the hospital, but because of the stab wound leading to his unresponsiveness, he could not be saved.
