Is Frasier season 3 happening?

As of writing, Paramount Plus or any other parties involved with the show have not shared an official confirmation of Frasier season 3. However, given the recent comments made by Frasier star Kelsey Grammer, fans are hopeful that an official announcement will be made soon.

In an interview with Screen Rant, Grammer emphasized which aspects he would like to see return in the spinoff series from the original show, should it be renewed. He mentioned his wish to have Mulvahill's Wine Cellar featured in the show again, a location that was displayed in season 9 of the original series.

In addition to this, he expanded on his fascination with Mulvahill's Wine Cellar featured in the original series and explained how he would convince the showrunners to incorporate the location and its environment into upcoming storylines, should the makers decide on making Frasier season 3. He said:

"I just thought of this yesterday. I was at a place in New Jersey called Crystal Springs, that very few people know is the connection for the character Kirby. Kirby was Jean Smart's son on the show. And he dated a girl who Niles and Frasier thought might be the heiress to the Mulvihill Wine Cellar."

He added:

"The Mulvihill Wine Cellar actually exists at Crystal Springs, so I think I may take Christopher Lloyd and the writers to a dinner there and try to figure out a way to make the Mulvihill Wine Cellar a thing on the show. I don't know. It's just something that came in my head, which won't destroy anybody's ideas of what the show should be."

Who can be expected to be in the cast of Fraisier season 3?

Even though there has not been a formal announcement, if Frasier season 3 is announced, it would certainly feature Kelsey Grammer reprising his role as Frasier Crane. Another actor who is likely to return is Jack Cutmore-Scott, who portrays Frederick "Freddy" Crane, the son of Frasier Crane and Lilith in the series.
