Like in her dream, as seen in the Grotesquerie premiere, the father's headless body is on the kitchen floor. It's the replica of her murder dream, down to the mysterious gooey liquid on the floor and the bubbling liquid cooked like a soup that likely has a baby in it.
When Lois and Megan talk about the murder case at the motel where they stayed in Grotesquerie episode 5, Lois has two theories. She thinks that someone stole her dream records and is trying to recreate the murders.
Or, she could still be dreaming, so she asks Megan to cut her with a knife so she can wake up. It turns out that she's living in reality, and as she washes up the blood from the cut in the bathroom, Megan's abusive boyfriend, Justin, starts attacking Megan.
