Ryan Murphy's latest horror series, Grotesquerie Season 1, premiered on September 25, 2024, on FX, bearing some horrifying series of crimes that Detective Lois has to make sense of. Much of the two-episode premiere was about the detective trying to piece together clues from the crime scenes and find the real killer.
She thinks the killings in their town are personal, especially after seeing an unidentified person break into her home, and her first lead about the killer turned out false. By the end of Episode 2, Detective Lois is starting to doubt her own abilities in solving the murders.
In the Grotesquerie Season 1 Episode 3 preview, released by FX Networks on YouTube on September 29, 2024, viewers witness Detective Lois still on the hunt to find the serial killer.
The preview shows the detective going through different clues about the murderer with the help of the police and Sister Megan's theories. Whether these clues lead them to the real killer or turn out to be another false lead remain to be seen.

Detective Lois continues her hunt for the killer in Grotesquerie Season 1 Episode 3
Detective Lois, despite the mess of her personal life, is eager to find the killer who's terrorizing their small town with a series of horrific murders.
She had previously found a lead, a man named Sullivan Firkus, whose previous job was harvesting human organs before he was sent to prison. However, that intel turned out to be false, as they discovered that Firkus is another of the murder victims, in fact, one of the earlier victims.
The detective continues on her witch hunt, while the killer, who is still on the loose, commits other killings that get more and more disturbing with obvious Biblical tableaus.
Throughout the Grotesquerie Season 1 premiere, audiences get to witness the detective piece together clues from the crime scenes. The same is expected to continue in the next episode as the Episode 3 preview sees Detective Lois going through clues about the killer. While talking to her fellow officers, she said:
"This killer is someone who knows anatomy."
Meanwhile, Sister Megan, who's slowly earning the detective's trust, continues sharing her theories about the murderer. Previously, she was heard sharing another conspiracy:
"He's a cleaner — a prophet trumpeting the coming of the end."
The preview also sees the detective calling the murderer a "monster," who was revealed to refer to themselves as "Grotesquerie" in the previous episode.
Grotesquerie Season 1 Episode 3 preview sees Travis Kelce's play being creepy
Travis Kelce's much-awaited debut in FX's Grotesquerie Season 1 has left fans curious, especially after he was missing in the two-episode premiere. However, those who have been waiting for the NFL star will get a glimpse of him starting in Episode 3.
As seen in the preview for the horror series's third episode, Kelce debuts in a character who teases some sort of connection to Detective Lois' hunt for the killer. He says:
"She's on the hunt."
Kelce's character in the series remains a mystery, but the next episodes are expected to give more in terms of his storyline and how his character fits into the dark, twisted world of Grotesquerie.
Grotesquerie Season 1 Episode 3 will drop along with Episode 4 on FX on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 10 p.m. ET.
