Grotesquerie season 1 is a horror drama series that premiered on FX on September 25, 2024. The series is created and executive-produced by Ryan Murphy, Jon Robin Baitz, and Joe Baken. It is produced by Ryan Murphy Television in association with 20th Television and FXP. The murder mystery series will unfold over 10 episodes.
Grotesquerie season 1 centers around Detective Lois Tryon trying to solve a series of disturbing murders taking place in her community. She teams up with the local nun and journalist, Sister Megan, to uncover the truth.
However, her investigation reveals a strange personal connection and forces her to deal with her inner demons before she can get to the killer.
