Heartstopper season 3: Full list of cast

Netflix’s Heartstopper season 3 is now here, right in time for fall. The queer, British, coming-of-age rom-com series is based on the graphic novel and webcomic series of the same name created by Alice Oseman. Heartstopper is one of Netflix's best-reviewed and critically acclaimed series which portrays a fresh and positive representation of young queer people.

The third season takes place after the events of season 2 and we will see Nick and Charlie gearing up for the next chapter of their romance to play out on-screen. Heartstopper season 3 premieres today October 3, 2024, at 12 AM ET or 3 AM PT on the Netflix streaming platform.

Here is the full cast list of the third season of the Netflix romantic drama.

1. Kit Connor as Nick Nelson

Nick is a popular Year 11 rugby player at Truham Grammar School who is also Charlie's boyfriend. Despite the emotional obstacles and his pressures as a rugby player, Nick is still headed towards some growth. The character is played by Kit Connor, who is one of Heartstopper’s most seasoned young actors.

Conner made his first on-screen credit in 2013 in an episode of Chickens and has since appeared in many TV shows and movies, including The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, Rocketman, and His Dark Materials. He is also a Broadway performer who made his debut with Romeo + Juliet, alongside Rachel Zegler.

2. Joe Locke as Charlie

In season 3 we will see that Charlie is determined to say “I love you” to his boyfriend Nick. Along with his intensifying relationship with Nick, Charlie is also making a very important mental health journey. Charlie's character is played by Joseph William Locke, who is a Manx actor. He received a nomination for the inaugural Children's and Family Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Performance for this role.

In 2024, Locke starred in the Marvel Cinematic Universe miniseries Agatha All Along. He has also taken on the role of Tobias Ragg in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street on Broadway.

3. Yasmin Finney as Elle

Heartstopper's Elle entered the show as the new girl in town who eventually became close friends with Tara (Corinna Brown) and Darcy (Kizzy Edgell). Along with her array of friends, she also has a boyfriend, Tao. In Heartstopper Season 3, we get to explore the maturing relationship between the couple and how Elle feels exploring her sexuality as a trans girl.

Yasmin Finney is a model and popular TikToker who has more than 1.9 million followers. Apart from Heartstopper, she has starred in Doctor Who.
