Hot Wheels Let's Race season 2: Full list of cast

Hot Wheels Let's Race Season 2 was released on Netflix on September 9, 2024. The series builds on the story of the first season, which follows a bunch of racing aspirants who enter Hot Wheels Garage Racing Camp to become champion racers.

The show is based on the globally popular Hot Wheels toy cars that Mattel Corporation manufactures. It became instantly popular among young audiences for its action-packed storyline and was among the most popular animated series on the platform.

Rob David, Melanie Shannon, and Jordan Gershowitz created Hot Wheels Let's Race Season 2. It features veteran voice actors such as Grey DeLisle-Griffin, Charlie Schlatter, and Josh Keaton, as well as some young talents, including Jakari Fraser and Amari McCoy.

The main cast of Hot Wheels Let's Race Season 2

1) Jakari Fraser as Cooper

Jakari Fraser is a young American actor who plays Cooper, an aspiring racer who wants to achieve greatness on the racing track. He and his friends Spark and Mac participate in the Racing Camp Grand Champ, where their racing skills are tested.

The actor has been part of projects like Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Dew Drop Diaries, Trolls Band Together, Abbott Elementary, etc. He showed interest in being on TV at the age of 5.

2) Amari McCoy as Sparky

Amari McCoy voices the character of Sparky or Spark, Cooper's friend, who has an inclination towards science and always opts for practical solutions when confronted with a problem. Each main character in the show has a signature color; Sparky's is yellow.

McCoy was born in Ethiopia but raised in California, where she began acting at 6. After appearing in several commercials, she debuted on A Little Help With Carol Burnett. Other projects she has been associated with are How I Met Your Father, American Auto, Batman: Caped Crusader, etc.

3) Grey DeLisle-Griffin as Dash Wheeler

Hot Wheels Let's Race season 2 will also see the return of Grey DeLisle-Griffin as Dash Wheeler. She is the prime instructor of the racing camp and a former champion racer.

Grey DeLisle-Griffin is considered a voice-acting veteran. In a career spanning over 28 years, she has performed over 1500 voices. She is also a comedian and a Grammy-winning singer/songwriter. Her most popular projects are The Fairly Odd Parents, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, Scooby-Doo, The Book of Life, and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

4) Charlie Schlatter as Simon

Charlie Schlatter plays Simon, also called Sidecar. He is a short teenager whose signature color is black. He teams up with Cooper when Hot Wheels City has a blackout. Sidecar is Axle Spoiler's best friend.

Charlie Schlatter started acting in 1987. During a performance, a casting director spotted him, which helped him get his first film role in Bright Lights, Big City, alongside Michael J. Fox. Since then, he has been part of projects like 18 Again!, Heartbreak Hotel, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and Diagnosis: Murder before appearing in Hot Wheels Let's Race season 2.

5) Josh Keaton as Axle Spoiler

Josh Keaton plays Axle Spoiler in Hot Wheels Let's Race Season 2. He is a brash teenager who wants to prove himself to be worthy of his family's racing legacy. He often gets jealous of Cooper because his father, Striker Spoiler, is impressed with Coop's abilities. His signature color is red.

Josh is also a veteran voice actor and has lent his services to Spider-Man in various media, Transformers: Prime, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, World of Warcraft, etc. He started his career in the late 80s and pivoted towards a musical career during the early 90s as a member of the boy band No Authority.
