House of the Dragon season 2 episode 7 aired on July 28, 2024. In the seventh episode, Rhaenyra gathered the dragon riders before attacking King’s Landing. With Vermithor and Silverwing finally being claimed by Hugh Hummer and Ulf the White, marking an end to the red sowing, Rhaenyra’s army was all set to capture the Iron throne in the most anticipated season finale.

With just one episode left in the second installment, fans and viewers globally anticipated a great battle that would finally put Rhaenyra on the throne.

However, fans and viewers witnessed several leaked scenes of the House of the Dragon season 2 finale. These were initially uploaded on TikTok on July 30, 2024, killing fans' hype.

In 2022, the season one finale of House of The Dragon was also leaked before its official release and the same was the story with Game of Thrones in 2017, which also witnessed a leak before its season finale, hinting at Jon Snow killing the Dragon Queen.

House of the Dragon season 2 finale leaked scenes garner over 100k views on TikTok

Several scenes from the unaired House of the Dragon season 2 finale which will come on HBO and Max on August 4, 2024, were uploaded on TikTok. The 14 clips circulated on social media which have now been removed got approximately 100,000 views in no time.

The alleged TikTok account named 'Old Valyria' has been banned now, but the clips have made their way to other socials including Reddit and X. The leaked clips are assumed to have been filmed with a secondary device most likely a cell phone camera or a hidden camera.

HBO is currently looking into this matter and more news about how the leaks surfaced online is expected soon.

What did the leaks reveal about the House of the Dragon season 2 finale?

From the leaked scenes, it is evident that Daemon and Rhaenyra are all set to attack King’s landing. Aemond and Criston Cole who will meanwhile reach Harrenhal to find out that Daemon has already abandoned the castle on his dragon Caraxes.

The leaked footages also show Daemon having a vision of the future, in which he sees the white walker threat and Danaereys as we have witnessed in Game of Thrones. Daemon in the season finale is also going to bend his knee to Rhaenyra after she comes to Harrenhal, as seen in one of the leaked footage. The Golden Cloaks are still loyal to Daemon as we also witnessed in the leaks.

Meanwhile, Aegon, disguised as a commonfolk, escapes King's Landing with the help of Larys Strong.

In the season finale, Otto Hightower will also make a return to the screen. While the Greens try to bring back the army, they fail and many are executed as witnessed via the leaks. The seven commanders of the city watch are either imprisoned or killed, while Aegon runs for his life.

Meanwhile, Aemond captures the abandoned Harrenhal and spares Alys Rivers.
