5 easter eggs in House of the Dragon season 2 episode 2 teaser
1) The consequence of Aegon's wrath
So far, Aegon II Targaryen (Tom Glynn-Carney) has been relatively quiet on the war front, but with the death of his son, things seem to have finally set in motion for the official king of the realm, as he looks to move forward with the war, perhaps kickstarting the moment that would ultimately culminate to the Dance of the Dragons as seen in the books.
2) Blood and Cheese's fate after the assassination
It's likely that Blood and Cheese, the assassins who killed young Prince Jaeherys, will be caught in the upcoming episode. The teaser shows two scenes that match the book. One quick scene of multiple people hanging might refer to the part where Aegon had all the city's ratcatchers executed. Another overhead shot of an execution could hint at Blood's death.
3) Rhaenyra and Daemon turning on each other
A part of the teaser for House of the Dragon season 2 episode 2 hints at the latent tension between Rhaenyra (Emma D'Arcy) and Daemon (Matt Smith) reaching a boiling point after the news of the young prince's assassination reaches Rhaenyra. She tells Daemon that she cannot trust him anymore, hinting at a long phase of tension between the couple in the coming days.
