Netflix teen drama series 13 Reasons Why which premiered on 2017 and ran for 4 seasons, was developed by Brian Yorkey. The series was based on the 2007 novel of the same name by Jay Asher. The narrative revolves around high school student Clay Jensen, who wants to find out about the mystery behind the suicide of his classmate and crush Hannah Baker.
The show tackles heavy topics such as mental health, s**ual assault, bullying, and the lasting impact of trauma. The series received a mixed response as it received a good rating of 7.5 from IMDB but 35% on Rotten Tomatoes.

What happens to each character at the end of 13 Reasons Why season 4?

But he eventually gets into Brown University and goes on a road trip with Tony before college starts. In the last episode "Graduation" (S4E10), Clay gives a graduation speech, showing how he has grown despite all the obstacles.
In the finale of 13 Reasons Why, Jessica Davis (played by Alisha Boe) keeps on fighting for a safer Liberty High, even owning up to causing a riot to save prom. She tries to be with Justin, but he turns her down. Jessica gets accepted into Berkeley and thinks about starting things up again with Diego Torres (played by Jan Luis Castellanos) in the episode titled "Graduation" (S4E10).
In "Acceptance" (S4E8), we find out that Tyler Down (played by Devin Druid) is working with the police. This makes his friends start to wonder about him. Also, during a drill for an active shooter, Tyler starts getting cozy with Monty's sister Estela de la Cruz (played by Inde Navarrette), and by the end of the 13 Reasons Why season, they're officially dating.

Tony feels unsure about leaving his dad's auto shop behind, but his dad convinces him to go to the University. In the 13 Reasons Why season finale Graduation (S4E10), Tony and Clay go on a road trip before Tony heads off to college.
Alex Standall (Miles Heizer) is all over the place trying to come to terms with the fact that he pushed Bryce and that led to his death. Along the way, he's also figuring out his s**uality by kissing Zach, dating Winston Williams (Deaken Bluman), and eventually ending things with him once he finds out about the investigation.
Finally, in the last episode of 13 Reasons Why, Alex starts going out with Charlie St. George (Tyler Barnhardt). Justin Foley (Brandon Flynn) comes back from rehab trying to stay clean, but when he finds out his mom passed away, he starts using again. It turns out he has HIV, and it's gotten to the point of AIDS.
In the finale, Justin dies from pneumonia and meningitis with his loved ones by his side. Ani Achola (Grace Saif) decides to move in with Jessica instead of her mom, and she and Clay decide to just be friends after breaking up. Ani turns down Bryce's college fund and gives the money to Liberty High's Hands-Off group. In the final episode, she heads off to college.
Other notable character endings on 13 Reasons Why
Aside from the main characters, 13 Reasons Why season 4 wrapped up some loose ends for a few other Liberty High students as they got ready to move on after graduation.
Zach Dempsey (Ross Butler) kept dating Chlöe Rice (Anne Winters) and got into UCLA, showing that things were looking up for the former football player. Courtney Crimsen (Michele Selene Ang) got into Stanford and was getting ready for college with a lot of excitement.
Ryan Shaver (Tommy Dorfman), the school's openly gay writer, got into the Iowa Writers' Workshop and celebrated with his buddies. The season dropped hints about possible new relationships like Cyrus and Mackenzie being seen together in a way that made it seem like they might have feelings for each other.
Charlie, who used to be friends with Monty, became more important in the final season of 13 Reasons Why and ended up dating Alex in the finale, giving us hope in all the drama.
Not all the characters had an easy journey to graduation, but the 13 Reasons Why finale tried to give the Liberty High community a feeling of closure as they looked ahead.
