Almost seven months after their divorce was finalized, Jeannie Mai and Jeezy have created headlines for another time after the former had to reportedly get in touch with the cops when she was not allowed to enter Jeezy's house to take her items. Notably, the duo was together for five years between 2018 and 2023, as per People magazine.

As per a report by In Touch on January 22, 2025, Jeannie had to take away a few boxes from Jeezy's residence in November last year, which was located in Georgia. The court allowed her to get her things within 21 days and Jeezy's attorney also agreed to the same.

However, after arriving at Jeezy's house, Jeannie Mai was allegedly refused entry by the house manager to the garage where her items were kept, as stated by Blast. The manager immediately contacted Jeezy, who also ordered him to not allow Jeannie to get her items.

Mai then reportedly called the Atlanta Police Department and the manager was informed that she should be allowed to get her things since a court order was issued for the same. While Mai was allowed to enter the house, she found that the boxes were reportedly not in good condition and her attorney claimed in the legal documents:

"The boxes were wet, with water having soaked through the boxes, damaging personal items. There were mouse traps set in the garage, presumably set for mice that had eaten through some of the boxes."

According to In Touch, the boxes had many items such as Jeannie's trophies, handbags, shoes, and more.

Mai and Jeezy tied the knot the following year and they invited close friends and family members to the wedding ceremony due to the restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic. A year later, they became the parents of a daughter, Monaco Mai Jenkins, and Jeannie Mai expressed her happiness about the same in The Real by saying:

"I can't explain to you how many visions jumped into my head this moment I put that little girl into my hands. I thought about my relationship with Mama Mai. That already, I can't wait to have that bond with Monaco."
