This December, the Country Music Association is going to air the fifteenth installment of the CMA Country Christmas special, its annual holiday TV special. The hourlong musical special was first aired in 2010, and since then, some of the biggest names in the country have performed holiday hits and classics on the program every year.

The CMA Country Christmas Special 2024 is scheduled to premiere on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, on ABC. For viewers without a cable connection, the musical special can also be watched via YouTube TV, Fubo TV, DIRECTV Stream, or Sling TV. For those who prefer streaming platforms, CMA Country Christmas will become available to stream the next day on both Disney+ and Hulu.
The full playlist of the show will also be made available on Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, and Amazon Music after the event airs on ABC this Tuesday.

The CMA Country Christmas Special 2024 was filmed in Nashville before a live studio audience. According to CMA's press release, this year's program will feature special performances across a range of genres, which will also include gospel music and country pop. The official synopsis for the event is as follows:
““CMA Country Christmas” rings in the holiday season annually with a night full of festive classics and one-of-a-kind musical performances. The event is filmed in Nashville, Tennessee and airs each holiday season on ABC Television Network. Now in its 15th year, the 2024 special is hosted by Amy Grant and Trisha Yearwood, with performances from some of today’s biggest Country Music stars!”
It has been confirmed by CMA that country stars Amy Grant and Trisha Yearwood are returning once again to host the event this year. The duo will also be performing Grant's Sing Your Praise to the Lord and Tom Stacks' Santa Claus Is Coming to Town. There will also be a solo performance by Grant, who will be singing Tennessee Christmas. Yearwood will also bring to us a solo "fun and festive Christmas medley," according to the Country Music Association.
