By 2012, just two years later, they claimed that Natalia was an adult, saying she had somehow changed her birth year from 2003 to 1989. This shocking revelation set off a chain of events that only deepened the mystery and intrigue surrounding her life.
The controversy surrounding Natalia Grace’s age has been a central issue throughout her story. In 2023, she celebrated her 20th birthday according to her original Ukrainian birth certificate, as shared by her current family, the Mans. However, based on a revised age assigned by the court, which states her birthdate as September 4, 1989, Natalia would be 35 years old in 2024, or 34 in 2023.
According to an article published by People on January 4, 2024, adding to the confusion, a blood test conducted by TruDiagnostic in August 2023 suggested her biological age was around 22, challenging the Barnetts' claims that she was an adult when they adopted her.
