Courteney Cox is recognized worldwide for her career-defining role as the clean freak Monica Geller in the iconic sitcom, Friends. Her other notable television roles include playing Jules Cobb in Cougar Town, Lucy Spiller in Dirt, Patricia 'Pat' Phelps in Shining Vale, and Brittany Wagner in Last Chance U, among others.

Moreover, she has appeared in films like Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, The Runner, Zoom, 3000 Miles to Graceland, Mothers and Daughters, and the Scream film franchise, to name a few.

In November 2020, Courteney Cox made her Instagram followers nostalgic by sharing a Thanksgiving video referencing a fan-favorite moment from Friends. In the video, the Alabama native asked fans not to send her GIFs depicting her "dancing like a (bleep) fool" with a turkey on her head.

"I am just going to snap," she said.

Courteney Cox's Thanksgiving video had a Friends connection

The video posted on November 27, 2020, showcased Courteney Cox recreating a funny Thanksgiving scene from Friends in which Monica put a raw turkey over her head to amuse Chandler.

The particular scene belonged to the 1998 episode of Friends, titled The One with All the Thanksgivings. It featured the gang reminiscing about their worst Thanksgiving experiences together. Chandler recalled how he lost his toe in a freak accident and left in anger after learning about Monica's involvement in the incident.

Monica decided to make it up to her boyfriend by putting a raw turkey over her head and putting huge sunglasses on it. She then did a funny dance, which not only made Chandler laugh but prompted him to say that he loved Monica.

Courteney Cox began the video by wishing fans a Happy Thanksgiving before saying:

"I hope you're having a great day. I'm feeling so thankful, and also, if I get one more (bleep) with a turkey on my head, dancing like a (bleep) fool, I'm just going to snap! So, anyway, since I'm the symbol of Thanksgiving, here you go. Hope it makes you happy."

She ended the video by dancing with a turkey and sunglasses on her head as the legendary theme song I'll Be There for You by The Rembrandts played in the background. The post has garnered more than 7 million views as of this writing.
