Industry season 4 was announced in the middle of September, with a September 19 Variety report stating that the renewal occurred less than two weeks before the season 3 finale.
Season 4 will continue following the saga of Pierpoint & Co., an investment banking firm that attracts ruthlessly ambitious and unscrupulous people. The series was created by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, both of whom also serve as executive producers.
In a statement shared with Variety, executive Vice President of HBO Programming Francesca Orsi had this to say:
“For three seasons, ‘Industry’ has been unflinching in its examination of ambition and class, solidifying itself as a marquee HBO drama. Under Mickey and Konrad’s singular vision, this twisted, thrilling look at London finance has redefined the contemporary workplace show."
"We have no doubt that Mickey and Konrad, alongside the amazing team under executive producer Jane Tranter at Bad Wolf and executive producer Kathleen McCaffrey, will take season four to even greater heights.”

Industry Season 4 will pick up where the last season left off
Season 3 ended with a major upheaval, as the original management of Pierpoint & Co sold off the company, causing the investment banking firm to be restructured into Al-Mi'raj Pierpoint. This led to the London offices of the firm closing down, meaning that the old power structure driving the show is no longer in place.
With the careers of the major characters of the series now in upheaval, they'll be exploring new avenues to realize their ambitions.
Robert Spearing is shifting to the United States by selling the Little Labs microdosing business to some buyers in California, and Harper is also rumored to be expanding her business stateside, with her chafing under her partnership with Petra.
In a September 30 interview with Decider, co-creator Mickey Down acknowledged how the main characters had gone their separate ways at the end of season 3, but there were plans to bring them back together again. When speaking about the expanding ambitions of Industry season 4, co-creator Konrad Kay said:
“It will never stop being about work and people’s relationships to work and what they get from it and their identities. But equally, if we’re going to do a fourth season, we want it to feel different from Season 3."
"And that means, again, expanding. And it suggests making the sandpit bigger in terms of what sorts of the genre elements of the show might bring into it.”
The exact date for Industry season 4's release is currently unknown. However, when speaking to Variety shortly after the season 3 finale aired, Mickey Down and Konrad Kay admitted that they were already working on the first two episodes of Industry season 4.
Industry has typically released a new season every two years. The series began while the COVID lockdowns were in place, which may have affected production of the second season.
Given that work on Industry Season 4 is currently underway, an overly optimistic estimate might peg the release date in late 2025. However, given the release date patterns we've seen so far, it would be safe to assume that Industry Season 4 will most likely be released sometime in 2026.
Industry's first three seasons are available for streaming on HBO Max for United States residents.
