Indeed, Anna Delvey aka Anna Sorokin has been to prison. As the series nears the climax of the court proceedings, Miss Sorokin is shown to suffer a nervous breakdown grasping the reality of her situation.
In one of the court trials, Anna is found guilty on eight counts out of ten, including grand larceny and theft of services. However, she is acquitted on the charge of theft against her ex-friend and one of the key witnesses Rachel Williams.
At the sentencing, Anna was given four to twelve years in prison for the charges. Her lawyer, Todd Spodek, who had grown personally invested in her case, was there for her sentencing, missing his family vacation.
