Sal Vulcano is a well-known standup comedian, actor, and producer best remembered for his 2011 improv comedy show Impractical Jokes and its movie special Impractical Jokers: The Movie.

He had previously come out as gay on a 2014 episode of Daytime Talk Show With Sally Jessy. But, he retracted saying he’s not actually gay but that he had said he was to support his friend and fellow castmate James Murray who had also come out, although it later turned out that James wasn’t gay either.

Impractical jokes aside, fans have been curious about Sal Vulcano’s love life for a while as the actor appears to be a lot more secretive about his dating life. But in his recent appearance in a podcast with Theo Vonn, the Impractical Jokers star dropped some news that shocked fans—Sal Vulcano is secretly married.

That’s not the only bomb he revealed either as the standup comedian said that he’s not only a husband, he’s a new father as well.

Sal Vulcano secretly married his longtime girlfriend

The comedian appeared on Theo Von’s This Past Weekend podcast on Tuesday, May 28, to talk about his upcoming solo comedy special Terrified. When Von candidly brought up the topic of family and building one, Sal Vulcano dropped some unexpected information—he’s married and he now has a child.

While the comedian admitted to being “very, very private,” he opened up about his marriage to his longtime girlfriend in the podcast, whom he called his “best friend.”

“Yeah, I was 43….I’m married. I never really talked about [it] at all. But, people know that I’m with my lady for a very long time.”

Elsewhere in the podcast, Sal Vulcano also shared snippets about his new role—a father and how it has changed his life.

“You know what it’s supposed to sound, you know what it’s supposed to be, you know what it is, you heard description of it, you have it, you know everything—it’s the best thing ever, it’s hard, she’s my best friend, you do anything for your kids, the reason I live, the reason I breathe, you hear it all.”

The comedian further tried to put into words his feelings after welcoming his first child into the world. He said:

“[But] then when it happens to you, there’s not words to describe it.”

Talking about the new addition to their family, which he said had given him “inexpressible pure happiness and joy,” Vulcano noted:

“I had her 20 months ago, and a thing, feelings I’ve never felt—imagine having a new feeling after 45 years, a feeling I never felt in my life is unlocked, and it’s the deepest feeling that I’ve ever had in my life.”

While Vulcano has opened up a part of his private life by sharing about his marriage and the birth of his daughter, he has yet to disclose details about his wife.
