As fans anticipate more from the Vox Machina universe, the question arises if The Legend of Vox Machina season 4 is on the horizon. During a season three launch event for Vox Machina, producer Travis Willingham hinted at the series' future, though nothing was confirmed at the time.
Amazon Prime Video has now officially announced the renewal of The Legend of Vox Machina season 4. This exciting news arrives just few hours before the finale of the show's third season, scheduled to air on October 24th.
The Legend of Vox Machina season 4 was teased earlier by the producer
The buzz around The Legend of Vox Machina season 4 started gaining traction during the launch party for the third season on YouTube. Travis Willingham made several remarks encouraging fans to continue supporting the series. He emphasized that only strong viewership would guarantee more seasons.
Additionally, as mentioned by ComicBook, production listings from SAG-AFTRA seem to indicate that The Legend of Vox Machina season 4 and five are being considered, but it's not an official confirmation from Prime Video.
During the launch event, streamed live on Oct 5, 2024, Willingham confirmed that the group plans to keep the show going after Season 3, with plans to introduce Taryon Darrington, who appears in Arc 4 of the campaign:
“We'll have to get enough seasons where we can get to Taryon, and he can sketch everybody naked, and then that would be great. … So, everybody watch so that we can get a whole season.”
Willingham's hints give fans some hope, yet Prime Video and its viewership numbers will eventually decide if Vox Machina will be renewed for a fourth season. Since the last few seasons were successful, it's likely that the studio could pay attention.
