The British crime television series, Joan, based on the life of the infamous jewel thief Joan Hannington, just made its US debut on the CW network on October 2, 2024. The series is set to air new episodes every subsequent week now, ending with the sixth episode, which also wraps up the story of Hannington and her criminal career.

The series was widely acclaimed when it premiered on ITV and is receiving a similar response in the US currently. It has nearly all the perfect elements for a good crime drama. This includes great actors, a tight script, and some beautiful camera and color work.

Being a period drama set in the tumultuous 1980s, the series also has an exceptional emphasis on the music and the songs, something that the creator and writer Anna Symon also discussed in a press conference ahead of the show's premiere. These songs, which are mostly era-appropriate in the series, add a lot of meaning and depth to the series.

Without further ado, let us dive into the expansive soundtrack of Joan and check out all the songs that are featured over the six episodes of the show.
