A brief recap of La Maison season 1 episode 3
Episode 3, titled The Family Photograph, reveals a little more of Paloma's backstory. Contrary to the initial belief that she is Vincent's daughter, as some of the characters in the series refer to her as Vincent's offspring, Paloma's father is Vincent's former lover who died, Gino. It explains Vincent's animosity towards her because she's the product of Gino cheating on Vincent.
But despite Vincent staying defiant to hand over the keys of the Maison to Paloma, he still decides to step down at the end of Episode 3. He then introduces Paloma Castel as the new artistic director for Maison LEDU.
Meanwhile, more Ledu family drama is happening in the background as Victor and Mandame Diane Rovel offered Robinson a place to make a name for himself at Rovel.
