La Maison season 1 finale dropped on Apple TV+ on Friday, November 15, 2024, bringing a conclusion filled with more drama, betrayal, and rivalry between two families and French fashion houses, Maison LEDU and Rovel. Episode 10, the finale, gave answers to the questions that fans had been looking for since the last episode aired.
Previously in the French fashion drama, Paloma made her opinions known about Rovel—she didn't like them. After Rovel acquired LEDU shares from Victor, Robinson, and Yann, they now had the majority shares of the Maison, leaving Paloma no choice but to organize her couture show at the Rovel esplanade.
However, she and Perle had a plan, and it played out at the end of La Maison episode 9, at least the start of it. Instead of wearing her designs, the models walking the runway were wearing plain white shirts with embedded codes for her virtual couture show.
It turned out that in the finale episode, Paloma's couture show was happening in Brittany, where she modeled her own designs, and people could see it on social media via the QR codes.

Paloma models in her own fashion show in La Maison season 1 finale
Attendees in Paloma's couture show went to the Rovel esplanade to witness her designs in La Maison's penultimate episode. However, they were in shock when models, including Perle, walked the runway, but Paloma's designs were nowhere in sight. Instead, they were outfitted in white pants and plain white tees with embedded QR codes.
Episode 9 ended with the audience scanning the codes in their phones, bringing them to the intro of Paloma's virtual couture show. In the La Maison season 1 finale, the tape rolled back to the moment Paloma returned to Maison LEDU after having second thoughts about leaving. The episode showed how Paloma pulled off her biggest gamble to fight for her family's Maison.
In the virtual couture show that the audiences saw on their phones, there were no other models—it was just Paloma in the LEDU estate wearing her designs. In a dramatic backdrop of the olden estate, her gown shimmered when the lights hit its embellishments.
However, Paloma didn't only showcase her creations, which were made of seaweed lace. She also revealed her story for the public to see her background as a Ledu and how she found her roots when she joined the Maison. She also played footage of her childhood in the background while modeling her designs, which included videos of her late father, Gino Castel.
While Paloma was averse to drama and creating a story for public consumption in the previous episodes, she embraced the spotlight in the La Maison season 1 finale.
How did Paloma pull off her virtual couture fashion show?
When Paloma questioned why Perle agreed to Madame Rovel to hold her show at the rival fashion house, Perle said something that made Paloma excited. It turned out that Perle had a plan, and Paloma was all for it—it would be a no-show at Rovel.
But, they were waiting on someone who could help pull off their last-ditch effort to ruin Rovel publicly and hopefully help Maison LEDU. The young designer thought that her friend Ye-Ji was the only one who could pull off such a "kamikaze mission."
In La Maison season 1 episode 8, it appeared that Paloma and Ye-Ji's friendship was over after they both said things that hurt each other deeply. But Ye-Ji returned to help Paloma one last time in the La Maison season 1 finale. They hauled Paloma's collection in Ye-Ji's trusty van, and went to the estate in Brittany.
There, Paloma modeled her collection while Ye-Ji videotaped her with her phone. She also edited the footage and generated the code that the people back at Maison LEDU printed on the models' white t-shirts. Meanwhile, during the day of Paloma's fashion show, Monique was handed the important mission of guarding the models' clothes, so no one would suspect that they weren't Paloma's collection.
La Maison season 1 finale sees Vincent making amends
While Rovel had the majority shares of Maison LEDU, Vincent thought that it was just "for now." The eldest Ledu wan't giving up either, and he had some plans in place. He bought an apartment at a building opposite Maison's headquarters so he could watch over Victor, who was now heading the Maison.
Meanwhile, Vincent was making amends for things that he should have done a long time ago, like giving Perle equity in LEDU. Vincent and Marie also agreed on one thing in La Maison season 1 finale—their new mission was to ensure that the Ledu legacy continued through the Maison. They remembered what their father had told them many years ago, that continuing the legacy was through the next generation.
As to how Vincent would do that, he spoke to his lawyer about giving his shares in the Maison to his daughter Paloma as well as to Perle. Marie's plan was more sinister because she was working on bringing Louise, Victor and Caroline's daughter to the Ledu side. She was on phase one of that plan—pretending that she had forgiven Victor for "treason," aka betraying the family.
As for bringing LEDU's majority shares back to the family, he told Paloma that they were going to sue Rovel. They were not giving up, but they had to find new evidence against Rovel—like finding Solal, the spy from Rovel and Robinson's lover, who went missing after La Maison episode 7.
Loyalties are tested for the Rovels in La Maison season 1 finale
Victor, the youngest Ledu sibling, had been the odd man out since the beginning of La Maison because he was working for the rival fashion house. Throughout the series, he was conned his way to acquiring more LEDU shares for Rovel's benefit, choosing to betray his family and the sister who was her mother figure growing up.
However, the Ledu family was not the only one facing betrayal and drama in the La Maison season 1 finale. Caroline and her mother, Madame Diane Rovel, were trying to one-up each other. Caroline had shown her claws in the last couple of episodes, and in the finale, she delivered the final blow by taking over the CEO position just as Diane was getting her operation.
She convinced the board members that she should replace her mother, and Victor would be heading the newly acquired Maison LEDU. As Diane woke up after surgery, she told Caroline that she was proud of her resilience and for learning everything she had taught her. However, the Rovel matriarch also told her daughter that she had one thing left to teach her—"defeat."
Diane was suing Caroline for the takeover, but it didn't appear that Caroline was taking her mother's retaliation sitting down.
