Mayor of Kingstown season 3 episode 6: Mike and his friends are finally springing into action

Mayor of Kingstown season 3, episode 6, titled Ecotone, was released on July 7, 2024, on Paramount Plus. In the episode, Mike McLusky (Jeremy Renner) reveals the true identities of those causing chaos in Kingstown to Evelyn. While seeking an arrest warrant for Russian mobster Konstantin Noskov, Mike explains that both Aryan mob boss Merle Callahan and Noskov are the main antagonists trying to spread chaos in the city.

After getting the warrant signed Mike sends his group of friends including Ian, Robert, and Kyle to Cavo where Konstantin currently resides. However, he warns them against any violence and harm befalling Iris, who would also have chances of being present at the location for reasons only Mike and she are aware of. Bunny has finally lost his patience with Callahan and Noskov in Mayor of Kingstown season 3

After dealing with their shenanigans for the past couple of episodes, Bunny is no longer willing to tolerate Noskov and Callahan's deliberate attempts at tarnishing his image and salvaging his drug business. In Mayor of Kingstown season 3 episode 6, after Rhonda is killed by a few Aryan men while setting up her salon, Bunny cannot help but be angered by the whole situation.

It appears that Bunny has reached the tip of the iceberg with his patience and is ready to have a one-on-one with Noskov and Callahan. However, knowing how dangerous the exercise could be, Mike kept Bunny docile ensuring that he and his team were trying their best to bring the two out in the open and finish them.

Iris gathers information about Konstantin that can further Mike's case against the Russian mobster

If you remember clearly, in episode 5 of Mayor of Kingstown Iris offered to help Mike in bringing Konstantin down by offering herself as bait. To be considered as one of Konstantin's trustworthy accomplices, Iris put her life on the line and mingled with him.

She drank, partied, and did drugs to gain Konstantin's trust, successfully getting involved in a drug deal with him. This new bond ensured Konstantin would confide in Iris, which would greatly help Mike. In the latest episode, their plan worked as Iris obtained valuable intel on the Russian gang leader.

After Mike and his friends are done serenading through Cavo, and also slightly hurting Iris in the process, she reveals to Mike that Konstantin is bringing in girls from Europe over the Canadian border. She also reveals his plans of sending them to major cities across the US where they will be stationed until they can pay him back. However, the catch is that Konstantin will be creating such a situation for the girls that they will never be able to pay their debt restricting them permanently.

Merle Callahan blames Bunny for bringing disorder to Kingstown

In a brief conversation towards the end of Mayor of Kingstown season 3 episode 6 Merle Callahan speaks to Mike Mclusky where he reveals that he and Konstantin were not the problems in Kingstown but Bunny is. So, if he wished things to go back to normal he has to choose between Bunny and peace within Kingstown. Callahan is suggesting towards Bunny's lucrative drug trade that has continued even after getting released from prison.

Callahan tried to momentarily turn Mike against Bunny however, whether that really worked or not can only be found in the next episode of the show scheduled for release on July 14, 2024.
