After a bus full of Russian women set for Kingstown is deliberately drowned in a river, Mike and his detective friends arrive at the location to investigate the case. While the initial investigation is on, Mike surprisingly asks Ian to label the incident as an accident and also makes a similar request to Evelyn.
Although his motive is not known, he suggests that the incident requires taking action outside the law, meaning he would take matters into his own hands.
Ian suggests that Mike is over-friendly and trustworthy towards Bunny, with whom he has had a good relationship throughout Mayor of Kingstown season 3. After a seed of doubt is planted in his mind, Mike pays Bunny a visit to his secret weapons warehouse, where he confronts Bunny for missing out on his calls and questions his supposed involvement in the bus accident.
Bunny didn't pay much heed, but the allegations angered him, and he severed bonds with Mike and declared him his enemy.
Iris' blind trust in Mike seems to be fading in Mayor of Kingstown season 3
After Iris witnesses Mike and his friends not taking any action against the death of the women, she's confused if she knows the real Mike. In several scenes, Iris seems to be imagining herself in the girls' situation, and the more she thinks about it, the more disappointment she faces.
The event triggers Iris, who starts questioning Mike's ability to maintain peace in Kingstown. She visits Konstantin, where she pretends to be friends with him to help Mike.
This time, she's no longer sure of what she's doing. Given Mike's inaction in the case, Iris no longer blindly trusts him.
Tracy's life is in danger in Mayor of Kingstown season 3
After Tracy uncovered the truth behind Cherry's rape, she comes under the radar of the miscreants responsible for creating chaos in Mayor of Kingstown season 3.
Tracy was leaving for home with a fellow worker, Will Breen, when he attacked her and warned Tracy against following up on Cherry's case and threatened severe consequences if she didn't let the case go. A frightened Tracy reaches home and pours herself a drink while she thinks about what happened at the parking.
