Jeremy Renner leads the cast of Mayor of Kingstown as Mike McLusky, who once used to be the right-hand man for his older brother Mitch McLusky, but later takes over as the Mayor of the troubled town, after his brother's demise.
Mike is aided by his younger brother Kyle, played by Taylor Handley. He is a police officer in the Michigan State Department and witnesses corruption around him. In season two he becomes part Michigan State Trooper, but after a tragic shootout that claims the life of his partner, he is riddled with guilt and trauma. Kyle is married to Tracy, played by Nishi Munshi who is pregnant with their son.
Other primary members of the cast include Dianne Wiest as Miriam McLusky, the matriarch of the McLusky family. Emma Laird as Iris, an escort who often becomes the source of conversation between the Russian mafia and government officials.
