Midnight at the Pera Palace Season 2 (Pera Palas'ta Gece Yarısı) is a Turkish historical drama series that premiered on Netflix on September 12, 2024. The series is directed by Emre Şahin and is inspired by Charles King's 2014 book, Midnight at the Pera Palace: The Birth of Modern Istanbul.

The series follows Esra (Hazal Kaya), a young journalist in modern-day Istanbul, who discovers a time portal at the historic Pera Palace Hotel. She accidentally travels back to 1919, where she's mistaken for her doppelganger, Peride, a woman involved in a plot to save Mustafa Kemal from assassination.

The cast of Midnight at the Pera Palace Season 2 features Hazal Kaya as Esra, with Tansu Biçer as the mysterious hotel manager Ahmet and Selahattin Paşalı as the enigmatic nightclub owner Halit. James Chalmers portrays George, a cunning British officer, while Engin Hepileri portrays Reşat, a conflicted police officer.

Kaya plays the role of Esra and her doppelganger Peride in Midnight at the Pera Palace Season 2. She's the main character of the series who plays the role of a journalist.

Tansu Bicer has played the role of Ahmet in the historical series. His character is the manager of the Pera Palace Hotel who also takes care of the secret of the time-traveling portal hidden in one of the rooms.

Bicer is a Turkish actor born on July 4, 1978. He's known for his roles as Gardiyan in F Tipi film (2012), Orban in Rise of Empires: Ottoman (2020) and Tansu in Cici (2022).

3) Selahattin Paşalı as Halit

Selahattin Paşalı played the role of Halit in the series. Halit is the owner of a nightclub who gets deeply indulged in the mission of Esra.

Engin Hepileri plays the role of Resat in Midnight at the Pera Palace Season 2. He's a tough police officer stationed in 1919 Istanbul and is also deeply in love with Peride.
