What is the plot of My Lady Jane?

The plot of My Lady Jane features the story of the unexpected rise of Lady Jane Grey to the throne of England who becomes the Nine-Day Queen, the title reflecting the duration of her reign.

Jane happens to be a bookworm and a clever young woman who never wished to rule or become the queen of England. However, due to a turn of events and some unavoidable circumstances, she finds herself at the center of the Tudor court.

In this story, things are a bit different from the real history of England. Here, Edward isn't taken by Tuberculosis, and Lady Jane and her husband don't lose their heads. Once she's queen, bad guys want to take her down and see her dead.

This makes Jane and her husband, Guildford, team up with friends to try and bring peace back to England. On their adventure, they bump into magical creatures and uncover magical secrets. Jane tries her best to be a good queen, making hard decisions along the way.

She works hard to keep her people safe, navigate tricky friendships, and keep her love strong, all while the future of the crown and England is uncertain. Instead of just needing saving, Lady Jane steps up as the hero for herself and her kingdom's people.
