How to Die Alone, Natasha Rothwell's highly anticipated comedy series, is set to premiere on September 13 on Hulu. This half-hour series, part of the Onyx Collective, will launch with four initial episodes. How to Die Alone follows the life of Mel, a character portrayed by Natasha Rothwell. Mel, a broke black JFK airport employee, has never been in love and has forgotten how to dream. After a near-death experience, her boring life changes, and she starts living by any means. She embarks on a humorous and poignant journey of self-discovery and adventure after this significant moment.

The official synopsis of the show mentions,

"Melissa is a neurotic fat black woman who has never been in love, but after a brush with death she refuses to settle for anything less than the life she wants, leading her to become "that b**ch" no matter what."
