When Wanda Klatt (Lea Drinda) goes missing one fateful day without a trace, many lives are turned upside down. When the police are unable to find her for months, her family decides to take matters into their own hands.

Long-time viewers of Where's Wanda? are doubtless aware that the Klatt family, consisting of Dedo (veteran comedic actor Axel Stein), Carlotta (renowned musician Heike Makatsch), and their teenage son Ole Klatt (Leo Simon) will break many a rule in their quest to find their loved one.

But when laws get broken, eventually law enforcement catches up with you. In this special clip provided by the good folks at Apple TV+, Detective Michelle Rauch (Nikeata Thompson) discovers their hidden surveillance hub.

So now, the big question remains! Will Detective Rauch sympathize with the Klatt Family and understand their desperation at not being able to locate the whereabouts of Wanda? Or will the detective be another deterrent in the Klatts' quest to find her?

Lea Drinda says that her character underwent her own transformation through Where's Wanda?

Sportskeeda was delighted to chat with Lea Drinda, who plays Wanda Klatt. Through the course of the series, we learn that her abductor, who has been instructed to kill her, refuses to do so.

Over time, a bond develops between the kidnapper and the kidnappee, which blossoms into something beyond friendship. She also learns from Chris (Aaron Maldonado Morales), her abductor, that she may not have been as perfect as she thought she was.

Drinda spoke about Wanda realizing that she may have been one of the 'mean girls' in school during the course of the interview:

"Yeah, I think that is sort of the character transformation that happens within her as well. She's like confronted with a really difficult situation. Realizes that she's also not always perfect. And that there's things that she also has to accept and learn. And be kinder to people."

While a kidnapping is certainly a life-changing experience, Wanda Klatt's character arc and the bond she develops with Chris eventually help her mature. As per Drinda, it also helps Wanda understand that she is indeed blessed to have what she does:

"Appreciate what she has. Her family. And the things that are important to her that she forgot before because everything was so perfect that she didn't see how many valuable things she had in her life. And I think through the arc of the whole being abducted sort of circumstance, she sort of realized the things that were actually important to her."
