Bell said in the episode that they were residing in a hotel that was linked to an amusement park- Tivoli Gardens. The actress added that she and Shepard allowed the kids to go inside the park:

"We let them wake up…they wake up at like 6:00 every morning. They scanned their bracelets to go outside. Didn't see them for seven hours. Just running around Copenhagen."

Kristen Bell addressed her experience of watching the kids enjoy and added:

"It was heaven. We just had coffee, we played Spades, and then around 3:00 we'd be like, 'Anybody see them?' And then one of them would run up and need a Band-Aid or whatever."

Kimmel questioned Bell on whether the kids were allowed to enter the rides without an adult, and the actress responded :

"No, it's real loosey goosey over there."

Bell and Shepard have been married for around 11 years and have raised two children. The latter opened up about how his daughter Lincoln and his wife do something that makes him cry. He stated that it is the moment when Bell sings and continued:

"She'll host a charity event or something and she'll sing, and every time I think 'I can't believe you can do that. It's just so incredible.' So I always cry when she sings."

Shepard disclosed that he starts crying when Lincoln joins her mother in singing. He described the experience by saying everything stops for him when the duo sings together.

Bell had previously spoken up on a rule that the entire family follows inside the house. The 44-year-old told People magazine in May 2024 that she and her husband always resolve their issues in front of the kids when they have a dispute. She explained the same by saying:

"Even if at dinner, let's say, one of us is frustrated and is a little snarky and then we go to bed. We'll apologize to each other the next morning. Then we will apologize and make amends to each other in front of the kids so that they can see how conflict resolution actually happens."
