"I hope it happens"— Lucas Bravo and his Emily In Paris castmates want Kim Cattral to join the show

The cast of Emily in Paris had a bold request for Kim Cattrall— the actress who portrayed the role of Samantha Jones in Sex and the City. Actor Lucas Bravo, who portrays Gabriel on the popular show, confessed that the actors have considered Cattrall for a cameo on their show.

On August 17, during an interview with IMDb, Bravo said:

"We've been talking about – earlier – about having Kim Cattrall, manifesting her presence on Emily in Paris," Bravo, 36, told IMDb.

Bravo emphasized that for this collaboration to happen, Cattrall would need a substantial role, and of course, her agreement to participate.

"But it would imply that there's a substantial role for her to take on, and also [for] her to say yes to that idea. But I've been floating all day and dreaming about that opportunity and I hope it happens." he added.

Emily in Paris cast want crossover with Sex and the City star, Kim Cattrall

The proposal for Cattrall to join the Parisian adventure is not Bravo’s imagination only. The same opinion has been expressed by his co-stars when asked about the possibility of cross-overs.

Emily in Paris star, Lily Collins, said that Sex and the City would be an ideal coupling for their show,

"I would say the obvious but also genuine answer is gonna be Sex and the City just because naturally I feel like there's a lot of crossover there," Collins stated.

Elena’s co-actors Ashley Park, who portrays Mindy Chen, and Lucien Laviscount, who plays Alfie, also shared a similar response.

"Sex and the City too. I mean, obviously," they agreed.

Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, known for her role as Sylvie, also chimed in, calling Sex and the City "the obvious" choice, while Bruno Gouery, who plays Luc, echoed the sentiment with, "It's obvious, yeah."

The expectation for a Kim Cattrall cameo emerges as Emily in Paris prepares for the fourth season. The new season will continue from the season 3 finale where Camille and Gabriel’s wedding was interrupted. In the official storyline, Emily is involved in a love triangle, being in love with both Gabriel and Alfie.

The season teases that Gabriel and Emily's "undeniable chemistry" will be put to the test as they "continue working together toward a Michelin star," but "two big secrets could threaten everything they've been building."

Season 4 will also explore challenges faced by other characters, including Mindy and her love interest, Nicolas De Leon. Paul Forman, who plays Mindy's love interest, Nicolas De Leon, told PEOPLE at the L.A. premiere on August 14:

"I think the theme for Nick this year is overcoming obstacles, hurdles in the company's way, trying to balance everything. So I think that will be reflected in the relationship."
