Netflix’s fan-favorite romantic-drama series Emily in Paris is currently gearing up for the release of its 4th season. It is set to premiere on August 15 on the global streaming platform and will see the return of a range of fan-favorite characters.

Starring Lilly Collins as Emily Cooper, the series is home to a range of familiar actors, such as the likes of Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, and Samuel Arnold. Bravo’s character in particular, Gabriel, has become a firm favorite amongst fans, as he graduated to become Emily Cooper’s partner in Season 3.

Gabriel was initially introduced as Emily’s upstairs neighbour, but the two eventually became close, resulting in one of the show’s most well-loved romance arcs thus far. A talented chef on the show, Gabriel is the part-owner of the restaurant L'Esprit de Gigi, which he named after his grandmother. Of course, his life is hardly without drama as things stand. Camille was shown to be pregnant in Season 3, which comes amidst his feelings for Emily Cooper.

Thus, Bravo’s character will need to make a major decision in the coming Season 4, and the love triangle between the three characters can be expected to be a major plot point. Regardless, the romantic arc between him and Emily Cooper has been much appreciated and was a long time coming since the character was first introduced, way back in Season 1.

The actor himself had recently mentioned his character's future, with respect to Season 4, in an interview with People. He did not reveal a lot of details, but claimed that Gabriel is set to move away from the relationship drama that has plagued him in recent seasons:

"I know that Gabriel in season four is aiming for the Michelin star. He’s maturing a lot. He’s not going to be so much involved into relationship dramas. I think he wants to aim for something very mature and stable.”

Hence, the actor himself effectively confirmed that he will be a part of Season 4, even though his screen time might be reduced, owing to the work Gabriel intends to surround himself with.

Regardless, as things stand, there is nothing to suggest that Gabriel will see any reduction in importance in the overall plot of Emily in Paris.
