The first trailer for Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man premiered online on December 29, 2024. Teasing a fun and quirky take on Peter Parker's early days as Spider-Man, the series will be set in an alternate timeline that is not the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While the trailer caught the eyes of many, one character in particular raised a few questions among fans.
In the trailer for Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, viewers discovered a character who sounds exactly like NPC Miles Morales—better known as Leaks World or Malik Ambersley. He is a streamer who got popular by roleplaying the character of Miles Morales/Spider-Man online.
However, while the character in the trailer—who fights Spider-Man as well—does sound a lot like Ambersley, the streamer did confirm online that it wasn't him. He just chalked up the similarity to his voice being a coincidence.

It's understandable why fans would have believed he was in the show given the fact that he has gotten popular online by roleplaying Miles Morales. However, that's not him in the show.
When and where to watch Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man?
Fans will be able to tune in for Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man when it premieres on Disney+ on January 29, 2025. Being the first Marvel Studios show of 2025, the series will consist of 10 episodes overall; however, the release timing and schedule for the series haven't been announced yet by the company.
To watch the show, fans will require a valid subscription to Disney+. However, if they already have the subscription service, then the show will be available to them at no further cost.
