When Curb Your Enthusiasm premiered in 2000, Kathy Griffin was also a part of the first episode. The sitcom concluded earlier this month, and the actress addressed creator Larry David in her latest interview with The Enquirer.

"Larry David dumped me. Not in a fun, charming way. He's really not a pleasant person. He plays a version of himself on that show that he thinks he is."

Kathy Griffin said that Larry's behavior was a result of a photoshoot in 2017, where she clicked a few pictures featuring a bloody head of Donald Trump. The photos were captured by photographer Tyler Shields, and Kathy later posted a tweet, saying that she was wrong.

"I understand how it offends people. I've made a lot of mistakes in my career."

Notably, David remained a significant part of the series for all 12 seasons.

Kathy Griffin shared her feeling about the finale of Curb Your Enthusiasm: Interview details and role explored

The HBO series, Curb Your Enthusiasm, ended on April 7, 2024, and Kathy Griffin addressed the same while speaking to The Enquirer. When asked about her thoughts on the show ending, Griffin stated that she "couldn't care less" until the platform chooses a woman similar to Larry "with an open checkbook."

"I couldn't care less," Griffin said. "I couldn't care less because until they give a woman who looks like Larry, of Larry's age, that opportunity on HBO ... with an open checkbook and says, 'You can run this however you want. You can get the team you want. You can do anything you want, and you still get to look like that and be that age,' then I'll get off my high horse."

She ended by saying,

"But right now, I'm too busy being bitter."

While the Suddenly Susan star also claimed in the interview that creator Larry David "dumped" her, the actor and producer is yet to respond. The representatives for Warner Bros. Discovery were also not available to comment on the actress' statements.

Kathy Griffin made a cameo appearance in the first episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, titled The Pants Tent. The episode aired on October 15, 2000, where Larry's pants led to a misunderstanding between him, Cheryl, and a friend named Robin Ruzan.

It is followed by an argument with a stranger inside the theater, leading to further trouble. Larry speaks to Jeff on call, referring to Cheryl as "Hitler," though he tries to hide the same from Cheryl, his attempts are unsuccessful.

Kathy Griffin is busy with her ongoing live tour in different cities

Last year, on November 13, 2023, the Hollywood Squares star announced a new tour titled My Life on the PTSD – List through her official Instagram page. She shared a picture with a list of the shows and mentioned a few other things in the caption.

"Use code PTSD to access the Artist Presale on Wednesday, November 15th at 10 AM local time. Normal people, you can get your tickets on Friday, November 17th at 10 AM local time."

In an interview with The Daily Cardinal on April 18, 2024, Kathy addressed the tour by saying she is working to "make it funny."

"You gotta find the humor, God knows I have. I can laugh at the darkest sh*t you can imagine because that's what gets me through."

She further stated that she would address the issues with which the Americans were battling during the COVID-19 pandemic. She even expressed her excitement to return on stage, saying the feeling was similar to being at home.

Kathy Griffin occasionally added more shows to the ongoing tour in the last few months. It started this year on February 2, in Des Moines, Iowa, and was originally supposed to end in June. The latest update shared by the comedian six days ago revealed that it will now conclude on December 31, 2024, in Chicago.
