Marlon Wayans is currently in the headlines after he posted screenshots of his conversation with Barack Obama on Facebook on August 22, 2024. Wayans has been already trending for his recent feud with DJ Vlad, who revealed Marlon's demands of a payment of $40,000 along with 30% of Vlad's revenue, as he appeared on The Black Russian Podcast.

Notably, Wayans received an automated text from Obama on his phone which stated that the former US president addressed the reasons why people need to elect Vice President Kamala Harris as he spoke at the Democratic National Convention.

"Trust that our leaders uphold our Constitution, not circumvent it. That they defend our democracy, not undermine it. That they protect our freedoms, not take them away. That they focus on bringing people together, instead of tearing them apart, " the automated message read.

Marlon Wayans also added screenshots of his reply to Barack Obama where he started by saying:

"What up Barack? S*xy a*s pic my G. What's up Brody? When we linking? I ain't got time for golf. That's 5 hours bro, I ain't got Steph Curry loot yet. Maybe we can grab some drank and a sneaky cig somewhere. DNC was [fire emoji] Kam did her thing bro and your set was especially dope."

Wayans even apologized to Obama for not replying on time, saying that he was busy and continued:

"Gotta go return Trump's voice message. He still bragging bout how he got shot and lived. Bro think he 50 cents now."

While his post went viral on different platforms, netizens took to the comments section of The Shade Room's Instagram post to share their reactions. A person funnily reacted by writing:

Most of the users were spotted making fun of Marlon Wayans as he replied to an automated text. A user also mentioned everyone who attended this year's DNC has received the same text.

Marlon Wayans and DJ Vlad targeted each other through multiple tweets

Wayans and Vlad's feud began on August 17, 2024, when the latter posted a tweet, revealing the details of the demands put by Marlon to appear on VladTV. While Wayans replied by saying that he was trying to finalize a deal, things took a different turn and the duo started posting more tweets against each other.

Marlon Wayans also expressed his frustration towards Vlad's words in another post and wrote:

"You mad? You unprofessional my guy. If you don't like the number keep it moving. You look bad. You should fall back. Mad at a black man stating his number? And now you go public and use your platform to try to drag me. I never in my life dealy with this silly negotiating tactic."

The dispute continued with Vlad saying that no one would pay $40,000 to Wayans and the latter replying by saying that Vlad never showed his face in an interview.

However, Vlad compared the views received on the YouTube video of his interview on The Breakfast Club, which was more than Wayans. Marlon Wayans responded by calling Vlad "ugly', adding that his beard did not look real.

Marlon Wayans eventually decided to step back from the feud by describing himself as a "legend." He stated that his community loves him and continued:

"Vlad id advise you to leave the f*ck alone. Your platform is beneath me. Period. Now quit begging. I'm gonna make you regret your false accusations about my peak. 33 years in the game and I'm just beginning. Watch as I burn your hate like rocket fuel."

The tweet seemingly marked the end of the dispute. However, DJ Vlad and Marlon Wayans have not confirmed anything from their sides for now.
