Shannen Doherty accuses ex Kurt Iswarienko of not paying temporary spousal support and seeks $15K in a new filing

Actress Shannen Doherty’s ex, Kurt Iswarienko has found himself in deep waters after the former filed for spousal support and stated that Kurt has not been paying the monthly spousal support. In the new filing submitted on June 14, 2024, Shannen Doherty requested $15,343 monthly along with $9,100 for her attorney fees.

Apart from this, Page Six reported that Shannen is also seeking $11,800 for racked-up fees as she has been trying for a long time to obtain Kurt’s complete responses, to the divorce proceedings.

In her new filing, Doherty also mentioned that her major income, which came from the streaming of Charmed is likely to reduce as the show will no longer be streaming on any major platforms from June 30, 2024. Stating how her “future residual income will drastically decrease,” she mentioned in the legal documents:

“As a result of my recurrent health issues, I have been largely unable to work and have no future employment prospects. Today, virtually all of the income I earn is residual income from work that I performed prior to marriage.”

Shannen Doherty starred in Charmed for the first three seasons, as she portrayed the role of Prue Halliwell from 1998 to 2001. Shannen married Kurt, a photographer from Malibu in October 2011 after dating for many years. The couple decided to part ways in April 2023, after being together for more than a decade.

Shannen Doherty claims that she had to pay $21,640 for her medical expenses in 2023

After Shannen Doherty filed for divorce from her third husband, Kurt, she submitted a new filing where she requested Kurt to pay for her monthly spousal support and her attorney fees. In her filing, she also mentioned that she has been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, and her medical bills have totaled $21,640 in 2023.

Stating how she is most likely to lose her SAG health insurance due to not working, she claims that her medical expenses will only increase in the near future. In her filing, she has also accused her ex-husband of lavishly spending on himself, and not paying for her medical bill, or residual income.

As per US Magazine, she also alleged that Kurt’s agent, Collier Grimm, is his new “romantic partner,” whose name she also mentioned in her filing. She said:

“While I have been unable to work, incurring exorbitant medical expenses not covered by insurance to undergo experimental treatments in hopes of prolonging my life, Kurt has been utilizing the airplane, spending thousands of dollars at medical spas, jewelry stores, Gucci, and on flights for his ‘agent’, while simultaneously claiming that he has insufficient funds with which to support me.”

She continued:

“Although Kurt’s income is substantially more than mine, he has not made any temporary spousal support payments and has made no contributions to my attorneys’ or accounting fees and costs since the time our divorce action was filed.”

On the other hand, Kurt Iswareinko was not Shannen Doherty’s first husband, as she was briefly engaged to Dean Jay Factor in 1993. Later that year, she married Ashley Hamilton in October 1993, however, the couple stayed together only for a few months as they decided to part ways in April 1994. Thereafter, Shannen married Rick Salomon in 2002, and this marriage also ended in nine months.

Furthermore, Kurt, the ex-husband of Shannen has not yet responded to the new filing, however, the news about the actress demanding a whopping amount has stirred a debate on social media, as many have sided with the actress, while others slammed her for the asking amount.
