Details surrounding Shannen Doherty and Kurt Iswarienko's divorce settlement
According to the court documents, Shannen Doherty signed a report to waive her spousal support on July 12. She also consented that their marriage end in a "default or uncontested dissolution." This meant that both parties agreed to finalize the proceedings outside of court.
"The parties have entered into a written agreement regarding their property and their marriage or domestic partnership rights, including support, the original of which is being or has been submitted to the court," the documents said.
In a previous court document, Doherty alleged that her ex-husband was prolonging their divorce settlement in hopes that she would die to avoid paying her spousal support.
However, this claim was denied by Kurt Iswarienko and his lawyer, Katherine Heersema, who added that Doherty was offered a settlement deal in October 2023, which she allegedly refused to sign.
