Recently, celebrity chef Rachael Ray has begun reappearing on television. However, after watching her most recent social media video, many fans are concerned for her health as they thought she didn't look like her usual self.

On September 2, Monday, Rachael Ray posted the new video to Instagram. She prepared pollo al mattone, a seasoned roast chicken, in the video. Nevertheless, as soon as the video was uploaded, netizens flocked to the comment section, wanting to know how she was doing and if she was ill.

However, once these comments went viral, Ray’s supporters jumped in to back her up. They took to the comment section of the same video to leave a bunch of comments asserting that she is aging in a normal manner and nothing is wrong with her.

Rachael Ray recently returned to television as the host of the FYI cable channel's Meals and Minutes program. Her trademark "stand and stir" cooking method was showcased on the show. Recently, doing the same, she shared an Instagram video of herself making pollo al mattone, one of her favorite Tuscan dishes.

In the clip, Rachael gave her viewers an overview of the dish she was going to prepare in the opening segment. She also honored the late singer Tony Bennett by providing the recipe for his favorite dish, ossobuco, which is braised veal shanks eaten with bread and polenta.

She remembered the night she "almost killed him" when Tony and his wife Susan Benedetto stopped by Rachael's house for supper.

She also said,

"I had polished the floors in the kitchen because, well, Tony Bennett's coming to dinner. I have to make sure the floors are perfect and the house is clean and everything is just amazing."

Rachael acknowledged that she had gone "overboard with the floors” as Tony "hit his head on my marble counter behind him" and the chair "slid out from under him.

The chef decided to wear a black t-shirt underneath a black cardigan with green stripes down the arms for the video. She was also wearing her glasses, despite not generally wearing them for her cooking show.

Additionally, Rachael didn't wear any makeup for the video. However, Instagram users noticed Rachael's altered appearance and voiced their worry in the comment section of the video, calling her unrecognizable and mentioning that she possibly had a small slur in her speech. The chef, though, remained silent about the matter.

On the other hand, her fans then took to Instagram to support the chef and stand by her.

Fans have previously voiced concerns over Rachael's wellbeing. After Ray posted a TikTok video to promote her new cooking show in August 2023, her appearance startled her fans.

Additionally, these worries might have been stoked by her previous health scares. There were rumors that Rachael Ray was nearly diagnosed with throat cancer in 2008. According to Page Six, her spokesperson, Charlie Dougiello denied the rumors but acknowledged that she had "minor surgery" to remove a benign cyst from her voice cord.

She carried on with her work and TV program, including ones for Food Network, in spite of the worry. Rachael has also previously stated that a childhood sickness was the cause of her unusual voice. She has had vocal problems since she was a young girl.

Rachael Ray had breathing issues, coughing, and tightness in the upper airway due to this frequent childhood illness. Despite her difficulties, Ray went on to follow her passion in spite of personal and health issues.

Nevertheless, this time as well, the chef didn’t confirm any recent health issues.
