Sister Wives star Christine Brown shared a reel on Instagram on July 7. The first part of the reel contained a montage of her photos from the TLC show, in which she looked rather disappointed. However, in the second part, she looked happy.
The caption read—
"Over the last few years, many people have reached out to me, looking for courage to make a change. Let this be the day that you step out into the uncomfortable, unfamiliar or even the scary. Change is scary. But we can do scary things."
For the unversed, she separated from her husband of 25 years, Kody Brown, in 2021. The pair had been in a polygamous marriage, with Kody having three other wives, Meri, Janelle, and Robyn.
Christine married David Woolley, whom she met on a dating app in October 2023, and is now in a monogamous relationship.
Christine Brown and Kody Brown divorce explored
Christine Brown grew up in a polygamist family and met Kody Brown and his wife, Meri Brown, through her sister, Wendy, when she was 19. She married Kody spiritually in March 1994 and became his third wife.
Their divorce was finalized in 2021, and Christine took to Instagram in 2021 to announce the split:
"After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave. We will continue to be a strong presence in each other's lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family. At this time, we ask for your grace and kindness as we navigate through this stage witin our family."
Christine Brown and Kody share six children: Apsyn, Mykelti, Paedon, Gwendlyn, Ysabel, and Truely.
After divorcing Kody Brown, Christine Brown met David Woolley on a dating app and married him in 2023. In an appearance on Reality Life with Kate Casey, Christine reflected on her decision to end her marriage to Kody and said:
"You can only sit and wish for so long, you actually have to start making the steps necessary to change that dialogue to change that situation."
In February 2023, in a sweet Valentine's Day message on Instagram, Christine called David the love of her life.
"I finally found the love of my life, David. The first time he held me close, it felt like my soul took it's first breath. He's wonderful and kind, incredible with my children and an adorable grandpa. I never dreamed I could find a love like this."
The two tied the knot in October 2023 in Utah, and while talking to ET in November, Christine Brown revealed the couple travels a lot and tries new things.
