Gangs of Galicia ends on a disastrous note as viewers are left with multiple cliffhangers.

After Ana’s father is murdered, she embarks on a journey to find out about the killer. In season one of the show, Ana had to handle big revelations. She got to know that her father was the wingman of Jose Padin, who she believed had murdered her father.

However, later she got to know about the whole police setup and how Daniel hated her father. Because Padin didn’t want Daniel to get his hands bloodied, he sent people to kill Silva (Ana’s father).

As the series wraps up, Daniel the main protagonist is seen in jail after Marco leaked intel. Ana, who is now pregnant wants to stay beside Daniel who is under custody. Do they have a future together is the question of the hour as Ana knows now that Daniel originally wanted to kill her father.

Other questions like what would happen to Marco after he snitched, are also left unanswered with the season's finale. A second season could bring some relief to fans by answering these questions.

However, there is no official confirmation about a second season at the time of writing this article. When asked if a second season is on the cards, Clara Lago, who stars as Ana told SensaCine that it was on Netflix's hands. She further continued:

"I can only wish for it and it would also be a sign that it has been well liked. In the end we do this so that people see it, enjoy it and are touched by it. If there is a second season, it means that this work, this objective, has been fulfilled."

In the same interview, the actress also talked about her co-star Tamar Novas and shared how excited she was when she got to know that he will be joining her in the series. She shared:

"I've signed on for 17 seasons already. I've really enjoyed working with Tamar. I was really excited when they finally confirmed that it was going to be him. In the end, it's a complicated series, they're complicated characters and, although it's very choral, our whole plot was going to be with each other."

She further continued:

"It gave me a lot of peace of mind and a lot of security, simply because I knew what a wonderful actor he is, but I didn't know that he had this sense of humor and how funny he is."

With the first season ending abruptly, Gangs of Galicia season 2 is probable, to end the character's arc and give the series a complete and definitive ending.
