La Maison takes a peek behind the glitz and glamor of the fashion world, at the drama involved in keeping a legendary fashion house alive. When Vincent Ledu (Lambert Wilson) becomes embroiled in a scandal, a series of events transpire that's guaranteed to keep the audience glued to this Apple TV+ drama.

Ledu's former muse, Perle Foster, played by Amira Casar has a significant role to play in the show. The complicated relationship between Ledu and Foster is at the heart of La Maison.

Wilson and Casar spoke to Sportskeeda about their equation to preview the saga that is La Maison.

Read on to find out why Wilson finds the dynamic between their characters to be like a monster with "two heads."

La Maison star Lambert Wilson feels like Ledu and Foster can't do without each other

Seasoned actor Lambert Wilson, perhaps best known for his role in The Matrix franchise, knows that Vincent Ledu and Perle Foster cannot do without one another. He explained their symbiotic relationship in this interview:

"A monster with two heads in a way. They cannot do without the other. And at the same time, there's a love-hate thing. I take it for granted. She is totally indispensable in my life."

Amira Casar, who is an equally seasoned actor, chimed in with her thoughts about the Apple TV+ original:

"I feel like he's my creator in a way. Because he actually very kindly reminds me that he took me out of the gutter. And shook me up when I was in a fish and chips shop. My family came from a fish and chips shop."

"You owe me everything'," joked Lambert Wilson at a certain point during the interview. Casar explained what a pivotal role Foster plays in Ledu's life in the high-stakes world of La Maison:

"So, I think I came from a very humble background. Was allowed into this magic box, as a muse first, as a model. And then with time, as a businesswoman, butler, psyciatrist, psychoanalyst, friend, almost wife but not quite."

That said, Casar stated that her character needed emancipation from the shadow that Vincent Ledu casts on her. She continued:

"At some point, when I see that we're on the edge, we're on the verge of disaster, because the muse only has a certain time. And also, for a designer, the talent only has a certain amount of time. So, it's stagnating. We're at a point when it starts stagnating."

Casar mentioned how societal change lies at the heart of La Maison. The drama deals with how today's world is different from the one that preceded it:

"Today's world which is about recycling, bringing new fashion ideas in. So this is also something that's very particular to this series. That you don't see in other fashion series I think."

The first two episodes of La Maison premiere on Apple TV+ on September 20, with a new episode every Friday until November 15. Stay tuned for Sportskeeda's coverage of the show on this site!
