The preview teases the series' conclusion and Oswald Cobb's upcoming climactic battle with Sofia Gigante, highlighting how the two will push themselves to their limits. It also looks like the episode may feature Sofia trying to mentally hurt Oswald by goading him into going after his mother.

What happened in The Penguin episode 7?
The Penguin episode 7, titled Top Hat, opened with a flashback sequence showcasing Oswald's past and his relationship with his mother. Jealous of his brothers, Oswald kills them after locking them in the sewers during a game of tag when it starts to rain. Going back home to his mother, the episode explores his unhealthy need for her approval.
In the present day, Oswald finds out that Sofia has taken his mother away. He then tells Victor to notify their partners about what's going on, and then Sal arrives at Crown Point with his goons. He threatens Oswald to take him to where he is running his Bliss operation, or else his mother will die. Oswald agrees and takes him to the underground railroads.
There, a gunfight breaks out between Oswald's and Sal's men, leading to a fistfight between the two mobsters. Subsequently, Sal suffers a heart attack during the fight. Meanwhile, Sofia recognizes that Francis Cobb is unwell and asks Julian Rush for help. She also visits her niece Gia, telling her that the Falcones deserved to die, but she then gets a call from Oswald, who tells her that Maroni is dead.
He then tells Sofia to come and fight him, as he has the keys to the city (the Bliss drugs) and that he should let her mother go. The episode then ends with Sofia bombing his Bliss operation and telling Oswald that if he wants his mother, then he should come and get her.

Going into The Penguin season finale, fans should expect to see the battle between Oswald and Sofia finally come to a head. Viewers can anticipate Sofia mentally tormenting Oswald by using his mom against him and trying to hurt him personally.
Aside from that, fans can also expect further flashbacks to Oswald's childhood, as well as more of Rex Calabrese. The preview does tease that fans will get to see more of his relationship with his mother. Most importantly, fans can expect a setup to Matt Reeves' The Batman - Part II.
