The Summer I Turned Pretty star Gavin Casalegno recently married girlfriend Cheyanne King. On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, the actor took to his Instagram to announce their wedding and share pictures from the ceremony, with the caption:
"FOREVER CAPTIVATED BY YOU."

The news came as a surprise to fans, as the actor never publicly confirmed his relationship. One fan commented on the similarities between Gavin's co-star Lola Tung and Cheyanne, writing:
"The way gavin’s wife looks like Lola is crazy. Lola obviously looks better but they look pretty similar or am I trippin."

Gavin Casalegno hails from Dallas, Texas, and began modeling for JC Penny when he was 4. He has appeared in commercials for Sony and Papa Johns. In an interview with Fashion Week Daily, Gavin revealed he got his first film role at the age of 11.
Casalegno has appeared in movies and shows like Noah, Walker, and The Vampire Diaries. However, he rose to fame starring as Jeremiah Fisher on Amazon Prime's The Summer I Turned Pretty.
According to People magazine, Gavin was previously in a relationship with model and actress Larsen Thompson. The pair were together for six years before calling quits. While they never announced their breakup, a source told J-14 about the duo's split in August 2022.
Meanwhile, Gavin and Cheyanne King kept their relationship on the down low. It remains unclear when and how they met. However, soon after the wedding announcement eagle-eyed fans began speculating they were in a relationship since September 2023 after spotting a man who appeared to be Casalegno on Cheyanne's old Instagram post.
The same man could be seen in several of her social media posts since.
Back in June 2023, Gavin told Cosmopolitan that he would prefer dating someone who "isn’t in the social media space," adding:
"I think that would lead to a lot less problems, to be blunt!"
In a separate interview with Shondaland in July 2024, the actor revealed he was a "big people person" and loved interacting with fans but added:
"I think you never realize how many eyes are on you until you’re even in a restaurant. Just to be plain, people start to treat you less as a person and more as a photo-op, which is kind of sad."
He later told Shondaland that he has learned to be more "private." In the interview, he revealed he was a hopeless romantic.
